Your Donation Allows Our Partner Agencies to Meet Maui's Most Critical Needs

When you give through Maui United Way, you are investing in our community safety net. This investment helps to create change in the lives of people who need help by allowing our partner agencies to provide access to many of the community’s most critically needed services.

Each year, our partner agencies apply for grants from the Community Fund. To determine the allocation of these funds, dedicated community volunteers and business leaders meet with our partner agencies to assess their needs, review their grant request and ensure that agencies adhere to sound fiscal policies and invest contributions in programs that help our community.

Community Fund donations are then allocated to partner agencies providing services in critical community need areas such as basic needs, substance abuse prevention and treatment, nurturing and developing youth, caring for the elderly and disabled and strengthening our families.
