Open to all nonprofit staff, this training offers practical tools and deeper clarity on what effective governance looks like. Participants will explore the roles and legal responsibilities of 501(c)(3) board members, what good governance looks like at every stage of an organization's life and how staff can set themselves and their boards up for lasting success, including how to build and sustain a healthy board through every phase of the development cycle. Hosted by Maui United Way, this workshop is open to nonprofit staff across Maui County.
