Community Impact Coordinator
Lehua Leong joined Maui United Way in April of 2025 with the goal of fostering growth and resilience within the Maui, Molokai, and Lānaʻi community. Her ʻāina kūpuna is Makawao, Maui, and she graduated from the UH Mānoa Kamakakūokalani Center for Hawaiian Studies in May of 2024. Lehua’s work at Maui United Way focuses on building bridges and connections between community members who want to contribute to positive change on Maui. She has a special place in her heart for the intersections where art and community come together to make change. In her free time, Lehua enjoys reading, writing, and sitting with her ancestors in a quiet place on a sunny day.
